Our Story
From a Vision to a Movement
Founded with a simple yet powerful belief β that every community deserves the opportunity to thrive β we began our journey in the heart of East Africa. What started as a small group of passionate individuals has grown into a movement touching thousands of lives.
Over the years, we have partnered with local communities, governments, and international organizations to deliver programs that create lasting change. From building schools to training healthcare workers, every initiative is rooted in the belief that sustainable development begins with empowered people.
Today, we continue to expand our reach, driven by the same passion that inspired our founding β and the communities we serve remain at the heart of everything we do.

Our Christian Foundational Creed
GLOFORD Uganda is a not-for-profit transformation organization anchored on a Christian foundational creed inspired by Biblical teachings and instructions. Our work is driven by the teachings of Jesus Christ, who emphasized love, compassion, and service to others. As it is written in Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus said, ββLove the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.β This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: βLove your neighbor as yourself.ββ These principles guide our commitment to fostering communities where everyone is valued and supported.
In all our endeavors, we strive to embody the teachings of Micah 6:8, which states, βHe has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.β By aligning our actions with these scriptures, we aim to create a lasting impact that reflects the love and justice of Christ. Our dedication to this creed ensures that our programs are not only effective but also resonate with the deeper moral and spiritual needs of the communities we serve.
