Impact Assessment 2024
This assessment evaluates the outcomes and impact of Gloford's four core programs using a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, focus groups, and administrative data analysis.
Methodology
The assessment was conducted by an external evaluation team from Makerere University School of Public Health. It covered a representative sample of 1,200 beneficiaries across all operational districts, with a comparison group of 400 non-beneficiaries for counterfactual analysis.

- Health Program: Mobile clinic users reported 40% higher rates of antenatal care attendance. HIV testing uptake in served communities was 3x higher than district averages. Maternal health knowledge scores improved by 55% post-intervention.
- Climate Program: Households using drought-resistant varieties reported 35% higher crop yields during dry seasons. Water harvesting adopters reduced water collection time by an average of 45 minutes per day.
