Partnership Overview

CEHURD is a Ugandan public interest organization focused on health and human rights. Our partnership, established in 2020, combines CEHURD's legal and policy expertise with our community-based health service delivery to advance health rights at both the community and national levels.

• Key achievements: Joint policy brief on maternal health rights submitted to Ministry of Health, 150 health workers trained on rights-based service delivery, 8 community health governance structures established

This partnership has strengthened the rights dimension of our health outreach work, ensuring that communities are not just receiving services but are empowered to demand accountability from the health system.
