Woord en Daad, a Netherlands-based development organization, has supported Gloford's climate resilience work since 2019. The partnership focuses on building sustainable livelihoods for smallholder farming families facing increasing climate vulnerability.
Partnership Details

- Focus areas: Drought-resistant agriculture, water harvesting, farmer cooperative development, and market linkages
- Geographic scope: Soroti, Kumi, and Ngora districts (Teso sub-region)
- Key achievements: 1,200 farming households reached with drought-resistant seed, 80 rainwater harvesting systems installed, 6 farmer cooperatives established and linked to markets
Woord en Daad brings technical expertise in agricultural value chains and sustainable livelihood approaches. Together, we have developed a replicable model for community-based climate adaptation that has attracted interest from other organizations working in the region.
