Plan International and Gloford have partnered since 2016 on youth empowerment and child protection programming in eastern Uganda. The partnership leverages Plan International's global expertise in child rights and youth development with our deep community access and local implementation capacity.

- Key achievements: 2,800 young people enrolled in mentorship programs, 450 youth-led businesses established, 12 community child protection committees trained and operational
This partnership has been particularly impactful in reaching adolescent girls with economic skills and reproductive health information, helping to reduce early marriage and teen pregnancy rates in target communities.
