Grace Nakato has chaired the Gloford Board of Directors since 2017. She brings over 25 years of experience in international development, having served in senior roles at UNDP, UNICEF, and the African Development Bank.
Grace holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi. Her expertise spans organizational governance, public-private partnerships, and development finance.
As Board Chairperson, Grace ensures that the organization maintains the highest standards of governance, transparency, and strategic coherence. She leads the annual board review process, oversees the independent audit, and represents Gloford in high-level policy forums.
Grace is passionate about women's economic empowerment and youth leadership. She serves on the boards of two other East African NGOs and mentors young women leaders through the African Women's Leadership Network.
