Faith Among is a registered nurse and public health specialist who has led Gloford's Health Outreach program since 2016. She holds a Master's in Public Health from Mbarara University and a nursing diploma from Mulago School of Nursing.
Faith manages the organization's fleet of mobile clinics, a network of 45 community health workers, and partnerships with 22 government health facilities across operational districts. Under her leadership, the health program has conducted over 80,000 consultations and facilitated more than 12,000 referrals to district hospitals.
Her areas of focus include reproductive and maternal health, HIV/AIDS prevention and testing, and community-based nutrition interventions. Faith was instrumental in adapting the health program during COVID-19, integrating screening protocols and prevention messaging into routine mobile clinic operations.
Faith is a member of the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council and regularly speaks at public health conferences on community-based service delivery models.
