Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Morris Chris Ongom is a Ugandan organizational leader, youth development expert, and social entrepreneur who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GLOFORD Uganda. He founded the organization with a vision of empowering young people and transforming communities through innovation, leadership, education, governance, climate action, and economic empowerment initiatives. Under his leadership, GLOFORD Uganda has expanded its impact across Northern Uganda and beyond through partnerships with international development organizations and community-based programs. Dr. Ongom is also recognized for promoting youth leadership, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. He has represented GLOFORD Uganda in international engagements, including business and innovation exchange programs aimed at strengthening local solutions for African communities. Dr Benson Obua-Ogwal Dr. Benson Obua-Ogwal is a Ugandan leadership consultant, former Member of Parliament, educator, and governance specialist who serves as the Board Chairperson of GLOFORD Uganda. He provides strategic leadership and oversight to the organization, supporting its mission of empowering youth, strengthening governance, and promoting inclusive community development. With experience working with organizations such as UNICEF, PLAN Uganda, and UNDP, Dr. Obua-Ogwal brings extensive expertise in leadership, policy, and community transformation. Through his guidance, GLOFORD Uganda continues to strengthen programs in governance, education, health, environment, and poverty reduction, especially among vulnerable communities in Northern Uganda.
Board Chairperson
Dr. Benson Obua-Ogwal is a Ugandan leadership consultant, former Member of Parliament, educator, and governance specialist who serves as the Board Chairperson of GLOFORD Uganda. He provides strategic leadership and oversight to the organization, supporting its mission of empowering youth, strengthening governance, and promoting inclusive community development. With experience working with organizations such as UNICEF, PLAN Uganda, and UNDP, Dr. Obua-Ogwal brings extensive expertise in leadership, policy, and community transformation. Through his guidance, GLOFORD Uganda continues to strengthen programs in governance, education, health, environment, and poverty reduction, especially among vulnerable communities in Northern Uganda.
ICT Officer
Bua Emmanuel is a Ugandan ICT professional, digital communications specialist, and creative media personnel currently serving as the ICT Officer at GLOFORD Uganda. He supports the organization in digital transformation, website management, social media management, graphic design, content creation, livestreaming, ICT systems support, and organizational communications. At GLOFORD Uganda, Emmanuel plays a key role in strengthening the organization’s online visibility and digital engagement through platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and X (Twitter). He has also contributed to the design of reports, publicity materials, organizational branding, and coverage of community projects and development activities across Uganda.
