Hi, I’m Stephen Omara!
I’m an Accountant with a solid foundation in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. With a passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy, I continue to contribute significantly to the success of GLOFORD Uganda while advancing my professional skills and knowledge. I’ve had the privilege of ensuring GLOFORD’S compliance level reached a significant milestone as compared to previous years. With three (3) years of experience in Accounting and Finance, 2 years of global and local volunteerism, I have learnt more and still continue to seek further learning.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I’m a farmer, and entrepreneur passionate about socio economic ventures that transform lives. I believe in volunteerism, especially those that make a positive impact in the lives of people and communities as a whole.
What sets me apart is my ability to uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency, building trust and long-term relationships be it with clients, donors and partners through honest and ethical practices. Also, I endeavor to bring new innovations to every project through proficiency in the latest accounting software and data analytics tools to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and offer insightful financial analysis
I’m driven by a belief in Integrity, innovation, and collaboration are at the heart of everything I do.
I envision successful achievable goals such as professional development in my field (CPA), working towards achieving leadership roles, maintaining ethical excellence, networking within my professional field, Work-life balance and mentorship to junior professionals.
Mr. Omara earned his Bachelors of Business Administration/ Accounting from Gulu University, Certificate in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Home study Center and is currently pursuing CPA courses.
