As a dedicated and passionate professional engineer, I hold a Diploma in Water Engineering and a Higher Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering. My career and volunteer experiences reflect a strong commitment to local community development and transformation. This dedication is evident through my involvement in various community-focused projects and initiatives.
I began my journey in the field of water engineering as a volunteer at the Lira District Water Office, where I gained invaluable experience and insight into the intricacies of water management and community needs. My role there laid the foundation for my current expertise and passion for enhancing water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in local communities.
In addition to my engineering qualifications, I am a trained data collection specialist with proficiency in using advanced data collection tools such as mWater and Kobo Collect. These skills have enabled me to contribute effectively to various data-driven projects, ensuring accurate and efficient data gathering and analysis.
Currently, I serve as a Community WASH Officer (CWO) with GLOFORD Uganda, directly attached to Lira District. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing and implementing WASH initiatives, working closely with community members to promote sustainable and impactful solutions. My work involves collaborating with various stakeholders to address challenges and improve the quality of life for residents through better access to clean water and improved sanitation facilities.
My passion for community development and transformation drives me to continuously seek innovative ways to contribute to the well-being of local populations. Through my work with GLOFORD Uganda, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve, fostering a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
