Ms. Akullu Scovia | Project Officer – Youth Engagements & Leadership

Ms Scovia Akullu is the Project Officer-Youth Engagements and Leadership at GLOFORD Uganda. She is a social and development worker and a specialist in youth governance and development. Scovia obtained Diploma in Development studies from Nsamizi Social Institute for Development, Mpigi. Earlier in career, she engaged in a survey with Plan Uganda as a research Assistant on Early Child Development in 8 the districts in Lango sub-region, worked with ABT Associate as the data collector in Kole district. She also worked with Action For Development-ACFODE as the community Based Facilitator (CBF) before joining GLOFORD Uganda.

While at school, she served as Games and Sports prefect and also class representative Uganda National Students’ Association-UNSA prefect.

Scovia joined GLOFORD Uganda in June 2013 and started as Youth Fellow. In 2014, she was confirmed as the Community Based Facilitator (CBF). In 2015 Scovia was given another appointment letter in relation to the great work she had conducted. She climbed from CBF to Project Officer based on her performance, attitude and vision for the youth. Scovia is the historical staff of GLOFORD Uganda.
