By 2028, GoVA aims to foster a more inclusive and accountable governance system in Uganda. Expected outcomes include increased citizen participation in governance processes, improved transparency in the management of public resources, and greater responsiveness of government institutions to the needs and concerns of the populace. The establishment of Community Parliaments is anticipated to enhance civic engagement and ensure that local governance reflects the needs and aspirations of the community. The program also anticipates a reduction in corruption levels and an increase in trust between citizens and their leaders, contributing to a more stable and democratic society.
