The meeting, under the theme “Strengthening Alignment and Driving Impact”, served as a critical moment to evaluate progress, tackle implementation challenges, and enhance collaboration across departments.
Opening with a powerful devotion led by Stella Akao and Daniel Oyugi, the team was reminded of the importance of purpose-driven service. The Executive and Program Managers then presented departmental reports covering key achievements, lessons learned, and targets for Quarter 3 (July–September 2025).
Key highlights included:
- The launch of the Blue Ambition Fund (BAF) Project, expanded training under Wealth From Waste, and ongoing entrepreneur mapping.
- Significant progress in WASH and Climate Adaptation, with the SWaSSH4A project moving steadily and new sanitation facilities underway in Kole and Lira.

Meanwhile, the Grants and Finance departments shared upcoming proposals and funding strategies to enhance program sustainability.
In his closing remarks, the CEO appreciated the collective commitment of staff and urged for more dynamic reporting, stronger impact storytelling, and better internal coordination. “Every project must show the change it’s making in people’s lives,” he emphasized.
The team committed to clear action points including: finalizing the Bi-Annual Report, improving website content, purchasing a standby generator, and enhancing hygiene facilities. These steps are expected to improve staff efficiency and service delivery to communities.
As GLOFORD enters Quarter 3, the organization remains committed to empowering communities, building sustainable partnerships, and transforming lives across Northern Uganda.
