Ms. Adongo Brenda | Youth Fellow

Brenda Adongo works with GLOFORD Uganda as youth fellow. She is a social worker with experience as a development practitioner with post conflict contexts, a community development worker with knowledge and experience in rights based programming, resource mobilization and project management.

Brenda has a Bachelor’s Degree in social work and social administration from Makerere University. She worked with Lira Referral Hospital as a medical social worker (trainee), Health Child Uganda as project officer maternal and child health project (volunteer), Children of Hope Uganda as project officer Early Childhood development project and currently GLOFORD Uganda.

From high school times, she has been a student leader from various school clubs and associations as school prefect, presiding officer electoral commission Lango Student Association Makerere University, vice chairperson Kwania student Association Makerere University among others. All the leadership skills and experiences molded her to be an interactive person with people from all walks of life and now a new breed of professional working with the young people.

Brenda’s passion is to empower communities using child, women and youth centered participatory approaches to eliminate poverty and vulnerability in the communities.
